I began getting into gardening about 6 years ago. At the time I went on a shopping spree purchasing all types of seeds. I was new at the time, and I did have a lot of success, but on the same note alot of failures.... It was experimentation....
I remember the plants I cared for the most... some Paw Paw trees.. Italian Tomato Trees, and red cucumbers--yes red.
I ended up messing up the soil and out south Texas heat finally killed my most resilient of all the tomatoes trees and took the Paw Paws with them... The red cucumbers thrived, but I ended up being disgusted by the smell and sight of cucumbers after having so many...
I believe if I would have had some more knowledge and the neat LED grow lights, I may have had some more success... The LED lights work really well, and yes like some others reviewers pointed out some of the screws were not turned in as tightly as they should... but it did not affect the quality of the actual product and result... I have started a few seedlings inside... this crazy weather does not give me an opportunity to do much outside these days.
I would recommend them to anyone that would like to get into gardening.
Message from the Company:
Using LED technology we were able to develop a small (but powerful) grow light that only utilizes 12 watts of power! It's energy-effecient and requires none of the additional tools that larger and bulkier units require (heat sinks, ballasts, fans, etc).
When garden-lovers receive our grow light all they need to do is screw it into any light socket or lamp (just like an existing light bulb). Since our lights use LEDs there is no need to replace burnt out bulbs or worry about damaging the plant from heat exposure.
We've already launched on Amazon.com and have had tremendous feedback from our customers. We're looking to spread the word even more and introduce gardeners to the possibility of gardening year-round!
This grow light is perfect for seed starting, germination, cloning, growing herbs and even growing leafy vegetables year round. It is suitable for hard-to-care for plants like orchids and also perfect for bringing back a dying house plant. This light is not powerful enough for full fruiting plants (like an orange tree).
As a company, our goal is to get these little grow lights into every classroom in America. We want children to learn how to grow plants and there isn't a more fun way than to use a colorful grow light!
