This Chef's Knife is extremely SHARP!! This knife is suitable for cutting fish, meat, fruit and Vegetables. IF you run into a bone that you want cut through, you should probably pull out a cleaver to prevent damage to the blade. Speaking of the blade- the blade is made of 3Cr13 STAINLESS steel. The handle on this knife is made of ABS+430. This knife will last you along time as long as you take care of it.
