Suaoki Solar Rechargeable LED Light Lantern Flashlight ZJ0063 review #Suaoki
This is the latest camping lantern from Suaoki. It is a minimalist design on camping lanterns, and it is a success!
There are 3 legs which rotate to 90 degrees. Each leg has 6 ultra bright LEDs 18 total, and a solar panel 3 total.
I love flashlights, and boy was I excited when pressed that power button. This lantern features 3 modes: Low, High, Strobe /Flashing- all of which are extremely bright!!
To get a full charge via Solar panels you will need 12 hours of direct sunlight- you will notice a red indicator light that will show that it is charging. When charging via solar you want to direct the panels at the sun- best would be angled at the sun, good would be flat, not-so-good would be pointing away from the sun.
When the indicator turns green it is fully charged
I did find that it pulls charge under a tree -shaded areas, but of course this may take a little longer because it is indirect light
It also comes with a micro-usb port for fast charging- "turbo charge via the micro USB port in 3.5 hours with full battery".
Another great thing to note is that Suaoki items have built in smart chips that help keep your products safe. This one has a smart chip protection: which handles over-charging protection, over-discharging protection, and over circuit protection.
1 hour charging under sunlight: equal or equivalent to
High: roughly 15 min
Low : roughly 30 min
It does come with a little hanger hook hidden on the top which is great to use for overhead lighting. You can easily hang it to a bungee inside or outside of a tent. you could also hang it for charging to get it off the ground, but do be cautious with wind, animals and kids that could cause it to fall -take precautions
