 When I first took this I had taken an Arizona Energy Drink at the same time. I was able to concentrate and focus while being surprising alert. I dont know if at that time it was because they were  mixed. Checking out the ingredient list I saw a few things that I recognized and a few I didn't.  The caffeine of course will give you alertness, vitamin B helps also, green tea helps with calmness and focus. Overall I was happy with it. I did have some concerns- I noticed that the pills had 2 different shades of color.. this inconsistency had me thinking... some days the pill would work better than others. I don't know if the different shades were from different batches or what? I had the starter edition which had 10 pills total so I could get more info than this in the time that I was taking it.  I also did not see "Microencapsulation Technology" I have taken focalin xr and you really do see  "Microencapsulation" but maybe these pills had a different form of it.. but the inconsistency of the the colors and the inner texture did throw me off.
