I have now owned 4 Deshedding Tools. This tool surpassed the others in several ways including but not limited to the grips on the handle, comes with a blade guard for storage, width of blade, the blade comes off at the touch of a button, and it has a feature that helps push the fur from the blade. Over all this is a well made product, that I would recommend to my close friends and any pet owners. I tested on both cats and dogs without issue.
