 My Review and Video:

This has to be one of the coolest lights/ Lanterns I have ever tried.

The Orion Camping Lantern / Power Bank by Super Nova has some great Features-

- Has 2 Battery port that can run independently or together, Run on 2rechargeable batteries, run on 3 AA Batteries, Run on all 5 together

-Comes with 2 Large Rechargeable Batteries, The lantern itself charges with a micro-usb cable via a phone charger or pc

-Comes with 3 AA Batteries

-Using all 5 batteries at the same time does give you a brighter light

- To turn it on, just pull it up, to turn it off push it back into itself.

-Actual light modes High, Medium, Night Vision (Red), Emergency (Red Strobe -- Quick-tip: Pushing it into itself quickly resets the sequence in the mode cycle.

-Even without changing the modes of light, you can adjust the brightness in the room by either pulling the light up or down more.

-The Lantern is a Powerbank that can charge several devices that take power via usb cable (usually get one full charge on a dead phone, and still have some extra power)

- Indicator lights shows when the power is full (blue) and when it is running low (red)

-The lanterns power bank will give charge to your device from the rechargeable batteries,

-->Hack-tip: (use this hack at your own risk, I will not be held responsible for damage that may come from this to your phone, your lantern, you or anything else.)

-->I don't believe the power-bank was meant to give power to your device without the rechargeable batteries inserted, but being that I like to ask the what-if questions and workarounds. I tried the power bank without the rechargeable batteries and inserted the 3 AA's. I plugged it into my phone and no charge was given. Okay, I pulled the light up to turn it on, and lo and behold the 3 AA's passed power to the phone. Yes, it will more than likely eat those batteries up, but if you are in a situation where you are stuck somewhere have this lantern, 3 AA's, micro-usb cable and a dead phone that can receive and hold charge, then this might possibly save your life.

Overall this is my new favorite toy/tool, it comes with warranty, and I would recommend it to a friend so have some fun with it.
Great for camping, out door events, and all types of night-fun.
