Every Techy needs one of these in the arsenal.  USB 3.0 Compatiable for fast trasnfers--yes if you have USB 2.0 it will work just fine- your speeds will not be as fast as 3.0. Easy to use with or without a computer you can clone hard-drives, pass data from an UN-enclosed hard-drive  (3.5") or (2.5") to and from your computer.  When cloning a harddrive it is as easy as plugging in the HDD in to Source and Target slots moving the little switch in the back to clone and pressing start.   The LED Indicator lights will tell you when it reaches different milestones 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and finish by beeping 3 times. 

 I have several of  the same model Laptops, and I found my HD are interchangeable so this is perfect for when I find a setting I like and making a backup replica when those hardware errors happen. Tested by making a clone of one of the hard drives, took about 30-40 minutes, and everything, and Yes!! I mean Everything was copied over, I plugged it into the laptop, turned it on- and even the wifi password was saved.. that for me is an A+++

Having and working with 14 laptops it can be a paid in the B#tt when something goes wrong/ or I just want to reconfigure everything with new software. Now with this baby I can decrease  the time of installing, wiping data, entering data. With my experiment it was exact...

Things to take into consideration with my experience-- and I still need to test other laptops

-Several of my laptops are the same model
-the hard drives were already interchangeable/operating system and all because they were the same model used commercial units, and build with the same hardware
- now I need to to test on a different size HD maybe even a SSHD as the target and see if it is plug n play like the others...

For now this will decrease my sleepless nights---sleepless because I do most my  work at night--
