Snug Baby Monitor for Smartphones (Apple/Android) #Amazonreview

I have now used and installed 3 cameras from different companies in my time. This one I think is the easiest there has been to setup, but it could be because I have set up 2 before and the processes are similar that I found it easy.

You get:

The camera with IR ability
mount with screws,
Ethernet cable,
power cable,
anntena
and some easy to follow instructions

Simply plug it into a power source and a router. I installed the app by searching "Snugcam" via the google play store, but if you have you have a QR code scanner then you you have the option to use that - works with apple and android alike.

Click on add device, scan the bottom QR code on the bottom of the camera.  Click to  Search device in Lan, click the appropriate name of the device. The is what stopped me a little the PWD: you are just going to leave it blank. I though it was None because the manual said "None", then that was wrong. Then the bottom of the camera said "none", and again that was wrong. I left it blank and it worked.

Once setup, you can then click on settings for that device and turn on wifi, and you now have the ability to use it wirelessly via wifi 3g 4g

This camera allows you to move around the room by swiping the screen on your device. You have the ability to turn on and off IR, use a microsd, change the resolution, take pictures and video. Picture quality was really good, my video was flashing a little in night-vision so I need to test that a little more before deciding if I need to contact the company.   Video and Pictures are stored in messages.

Very neat - you have the ability to setup alarms and get messages to your phone if there is movement in the room, - you can adjust the sensitivity to this feature.

Overall out of the 3 security cameras that I own, this baby monitor is at the top of my favorites list.
