Small enough for an RV or Cabin in the woods. I was not a big coffee person before, but ever since I have tried french pressed coffee.. I stick to it. I have about 7 or so french presses, different companies and styles. This one is especially functional and affordable, great if you are on a budget and live in a small space. Do remember that it is made up of glass, and you should always be cautious. Very simple to use! You add the recommend portion of ground coffee (don't grind it too fine) to hot water in the press , stir with a wooden spoon, allow it to sit in the press for about 5 minutes with the lid on, but the plunger up. Slowly press plunger down with the spout facing away from you. Pour and enjoy.. Best way to make coffee

How much is a cup?
In coffee lingo, a "cup" is often just 4 ounces. Other brands may mislead you with "8-cup" capacity claims without explaining that means just 4 ounces per cup. Our French press delivers 32 ounces of smooth, delicious coffee (the carafe can hold 34 ounces, but the filter and coffee grounds take up some room). So, how much is a cup? It depends on the size of your mug!
