The WEDGNETiX magnetic building blocks are great for all ages. I am 27 years old, and I can get lost in the blocks for hours at a time.  I actually recommend playing with them without any thought in your mind... your creativity will spark both with the blocks and sudden solutions to problems from your day.   These are blocks are different than most because firstly they are transparent, diamond cut (lots of triangle edges, and the pieces are magnetic!! The magnets allow you to defy gravity, and form shapes that you would not normally be able to.  The colors themselves spark imagination and creativity. If you have a child, like building things, or are a child at heart then these are for you. I really enjoy these blocks, and when I finish designing what ever it is at the top of my head for the moment, it sits great on the shelf.

ImagAbility does provide design ideas for kids to progress from 2D into 3D constructions, however, there isn’t any “only one way to do things” step-by-step instruction.

ImagAbility points out the extreme safety of WEDGNETiX:
A key criterion in the engineering design of the WEDGNETiX bar relieves any consumer safety concern. Each bar is a two-sided construction that has a male and a female component. When the two parts mate together they literally sandwich the cylindrical magnet between the parts. The plastic parts, made of an extremely strong ABS plastic, are pulled together, which basically melds the plastic into a single component. In addition, ImagAbility clearly identifies caution on the front of each package, that WEDGNETiX contains magnets. The product is tested and in compliance to the USA’s CPSIA and international ASTM FM963 certification.

What kind of toys do I love for my students? 

The toy needs to be functional, non-messy, low noise level, something that makes them think (cognitive)

The FlipStir Puzzle is all of the above!!  The puzzle is self contained  in a cylinder, and the only thing that you can move the pieces around with is a built-in wand and gravity. The idea reminds me of those ships in a bottle, except at an easier repeatable level. 

The FlipStir comes in different levels, and each level has specific designs. The design of the specific puzzle you purchased is pictured at the bottom of the cylinder for reference. My puzzle was the "Solar System" which is great for teaching science, and getting kids interested in Astronomy.  Puzzle are great for building problem solving skills and getting people at all ages thinking.

I am 27, and many of my friends are around the same age and they thought it was the coolest thing.  It had them entertained for a while.  The 6th grade students love it. I allow the kids free time for good behavior and they always for this puzzle. I love that the pieces are self contained, and when they finish up the puzzle we set them on the book shelves for reference during science class.

The Fonus Light, is one of the best lanterns that I own!! It is a military style lantern with some neat features!

Great concept, and it actually works... Like many of you I have seen that as seen on tv ad, and after purchasing several AS Seen on TV items that left a bad taste in my mouth, I was surprised at the practicality of this water hose.

The water pressure expands the inner latex tubing and polyester webbing outer cover., which grows to 50ft. It comes in a 3 piece set, the hose, a connector, a multi-function 8-1 water gun. The books story is a well known one, The Bible. This is one of the most beautiful books that I have had the opportunity to hold in my hands. I feel that it is a beautiful and colorful representation of the bible.  The story is simple for children to follow written by Kevin DeYoung, and the illustrations by Don Clark have so much detail that you want to have the book open for hours just scanning the pictures and decoding it. I would truly recommend this book.

I am always looking for a good pair of athletic socks, mostly because my sisters take my socks from me. (excuse the pun)

These socks fit extremely well! Not too tight, not too loose. The elastic snaps back into place well. The most attractive feature to me is Anti-Bacterial, anti-odor, because the material wicks away moisture you do not have to worry about an embarrassing smell. The ventilation area was something I had not experienced with any other product, and I can honestly say my feet feel fresher, and preventing the sweat from starting up.
