The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden #BIGGESTSTORY CD/ Audio Review

The Biggest Story was introduced to me about a year back. I fell in love the the digital art that composed the book. This is the same book that we came to love but w/2 new formats: Audio & DVD.

The covers are bright and colorful, exactly like the book cover. Opening up the dvd, I find an invitation to download a Free Digital copy of The Biggest Story via an access code from crossway.org. The inner flap of both the Dvd and Cd contained unique double sided posters and the discs themselves. The posters are picture from the book, and could easily be framed for a child's bedroom. The voice from the audio sounded very familiar to me, and then I remembered watching the trailer. The new formats met my expectations and I believe would be great for introducing the Bible to children in a family friendly manner and lend themselves for children that may not yet know how to read, and need auditory material. Both CD and DVD are only 26 minutes long.  I believe that most cars have a CD player and would be great for daily travel with kids.

If you are familiar with the original book, then you will be pleased to know that the digital art is exactly the same, but taken to the next level by making it animated.  The movements of the pictures pulls every-bodies attention ( child and adult alike).  This is a simplified version of the Bible that lends itself into the colorful imagination of a child and will likely inspire future Bible study.  I would highly recommend it.
