As we get older and focus more on survival versus imagination and fun, the world begins to loose its magic and wonder. This book is an elegant and refreshing look at the alphabet through the eyes of a 10 year old boy named Adam Solomon.  The book is word-less, only abstract pictures of daily things that we encounter throughout the day yet for the most part do not focus too much attention on.

Currently, I am a Substitute Teacher. I get requested to sub a lot in both Pre-K and Kindergarten. Many times I will actually carry this book around with me when I need to keep the kids entertained, and they ask me to read them a story. The word-less nature of the book and easy to spot Letter symbol makes ideal to ask the kids questions, and all them to come up with their own conclusions, and even get them to start thinking like the photographer. The kids love the fact that it is photographed by a 10 year old, and I feel that it inspires them to hopefully set out on a similar journey.
